Driver 204 – Brendan Sadler
For Brendan Sadler, the passion for motorsport started at just eight years old.
In April 2017, Brendan climbed behind the wheel of a go-kart for the first time at Mahem Raceway. What began as a young boy’s love for speed quickly developed into a serious passion for racing.
Weekend after weekend, Brendan, his dad Bennie and his brother made their way to the track to practice, learn and improve. Countless hours were spent chasing faster laps, learning the craft and working together as a family.
For Brendan, racing has never simply been about finishing first. It has been about discipline, determination and constantly pushing himself to become a better driver.
In October 2020, that hard work delivered his first race victory. Driving a VW 1600 in the Junior Stock Rod class at Bosveld Raceway in Mokopane, Brendan took his first win and opened the door to even bigger ambitions.
Over the following eight years on the oval track, Brendan built an impressive record, collecting multiple podium finishes along the way. Every trophy represented another challenge overcome and another step forward in his racing journey.
But the next challenge was waiting.
This year, Brendan made the move from oval racing to circuit racing, joining the Silver Cup 2.0 – C Class at Zwartkops Raceway.
A new discipline meant new competition, new racing lines and a completely different environment. It was a fresh chapter that would put everything Brendan had learned over the years to the test.
He answered that challenge with an impressive 3rd-place finish at Zwartkops Raceway.
And for Brendan, third place isn’t the destination. It’s another starting point.
From an eight-year-old discovering his love for racing to a driver now taking on the circuit racing world, Brendan’s story is built on family, passion, hard work and an unwillingness to give up.
With his dad and brother by his side, the journey continues — one corner, one lap and one race at a time.
STK Performance is proud to support Bensa Performance Motorsport and be part of Brendan’s journey. A big thank you to Simon from STK Performance for the advice, support and products that have helped along the way, and to Bennie Sadler from Bensa Performance Motorsport for making this racing journey possible.
The trophies tell the story of what Brendan has already achieved.
But we have a feeling the best chapters are still to come.
Keep pushing. Keep building. Keep racing.
